    • Overview

      In this module, participants will learn about metabolic syndrome, a culmination of disease states and symptoms which are often highly preventable and treatable though lifestyle and functional medicine. This session will describe risk factors as well as states of disease which are influenced by metabolic syndrome. Participants will learn to recognize the different classes of medicine that are used to treat conditions of metabolic syndrome, as well as associated drug induced nutrient depletions.
