  Overview

  This webinar will review recent legal actions involving pharmacies and pharmacists. Questions which will be addressed include: Can refusing to fill a suspicious prescription for opioids expose a pharmacist to legal risks? If so, what risks? Can a pharmacist’s obligation to monitor for the legitimacy of prescriptions (detecting Red Flags) be excused due to workplace conditions? What unexpected issues could arise under the Americans with Disabilities Act in the pharmacy setting?
