    • Overview

A person’s bones continue to grow throughout their lifetime. Strong bones are crucial for healing and independence. As mobility declines in older age, bones become vulnerable to breaks, which can jeopardize independent living. This session describes healthy bone development throughout life, osteoporosis diagnoses and monitoring, and treatment algorithms for increasing bone strength. One unique characteristic of this category of medicines is the variety of administration options.
