    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). There are multiple updates in the 2022 guideline related to Covid-19 recommendations in this patient population. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients who have COPD. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of medications used to treat this disease and how to counsel patients on decreasing their risk for other types of respiratory infections. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
