    • Overview

      The prospect of a DEA audit can be daunting and intimidating for pharmacy personnel. In the regulatory environment, one cannot over emphasize the need for precise record-keeping and completely defined workplace procedures. This session seeks to identify the components of an effective risk management plan, highlighting the most common mistakes that pharmacies make in record keeping. Finally, the session addresses DEA registration requirements and describes the various types of administrative actions that the DEA may evoke.
