    • Overview

      This session will provide the audience with a broad strokes view of safe and effective pain management. The audience will gain a greater appreciation for the safe and appropriate use of opioids, their risks and mitigation strategies, and alternatives. State (MI) and federal laws will be discussed in the context of pain management. And finally, the lecture will close discussing the stigma of addiction and its ramifications.
