  Overview

  An estimated 20 million Americans have some form of thyroid disease while greater than 12% of the United States population will develop a thyroid condition at some point during their lifetime. Oftentimes, those with thyroid disease are unaware of their condition or they are not being adequately treated for their condition. This session will provide an overview of the thyroid, including information on screening, diagnosis, types of thyroid diseases, treatment options, and much more! This session is intended for a pharmacy technician audience.
