    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine ulcerative colitis and review guideline updates from March 2023. The guidelines emphasize the use of non-invasive biomarkers in place of endoscopic evaluation. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients with ulcerative colitis of varying severity. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of the relevant medications and their place in therapy. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
