    • Overview

In a podcast-style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD, and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine the management of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Frequently, new data is published highlighting the benefits or risks of existing medications when used in CKD.  Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients with CKD or renal dysfunction. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of medications in this case and know how to identify patients who need therapy adjustments.  This session explores these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
