  Overview

  In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine the treatment and management of acne vulgaris. This is a very common condition affecting most individuals through adolescence and many times into adulthood. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients with acne being managed with over the counter or prescription medications. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of these medications and know how to identify patients who could benefit from them. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
