    • Overview

In a podcast-style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD, and Cole Swanson, PharmD review the new AFib management guidelines published in 2023. AFib is the most sustained common arrhythmia and incidence in the US is increasing. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients with AFib who are at risk for complications. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of medications used to manage AFib and know how to identify patients who can benefit from them. This session explores these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
