    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine SGLT-2 inhibitors and their more recent use in the treatment of heart failure. Multiple clinical trials have provided guidance on which SGLT-2 inhibitors may be preferred in certain situations. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients who have heart failure. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of these medications and know how to identify patients who could benefit from them. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
