    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine the use of anticoagulants to treat various conditions. More is known about the safety of direct oral anticoagulants and potential drug interactions that may be of concern. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients using these medications. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of these medications to reduce the risk of adverse bleed events. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
