  Pharmacy plays a key role in advancing HIV prevention efforts by facilitating the accessibility, education, and distribution of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). This session seeks to explore PrEP for HIV prevention and the role pharmacy technicians play in ensuring its accessibility and success. The efficacy, utilization, and public health implications of PrEP will be discussed through the lens of pharmacy involvement. This session will also delve into the responsibilities of pharmacy technicians in dispensing and raising awareness of PrEP.
