    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine the updated ACIP guidelines focusing on adult immunizations. In the last couple of years there have been newly approved immunizations for Covid-19 and pneumonia as well as updated recommendations regarding other vaccines.  Pharmacists and nurses are vital to ensuring a patient's immunizations are up to date. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand how to recognize patients indicated for certain vaccines. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
