    • Overview

Eyesight is indeed the most precious sense. There are rows upon rows of products for eye care in the over-the-counter section of the pharmacy. Whether it is hypertonic saline or contact lens solutions, most pharmacists are very uncomfortable in this section. There are also some options out in the front of the pharmacy that, at one time, were in the pharmacy inventory and can be a cheaper alternative for patients who are uninsured or have high deductibles. Fortunately, Professor Pete is blessed to have a niece, Dr. Rachel Fritz, who is an optometrist, and was happy to collaborate on this unit and review it for content and accuracy.
