    • Overview

      The current practice environment for pharmacists has many pitfalls, the one most generally seen being the claim for malpractice, or negligence.  This course will review the basis for a malpractice claim.  As well, the course will cover the four elements of a malpractice claim that must be met for a claim to be successful.  Further, defenses available to pharmacists will be discussed.  Finally, the course will discuss the future of such lawsuits and how conditions for these are evolving.
