    • Overview

Herbal and other plant-derived products have been used for thousands of years to treat and to heal people all around the world. Currently, there is an ever-increasing demand for more natural and easily accessible products. It is important for us, as healthcare professionals, to be able to not only recognize these products and their possible benefits, but to also acknowledge that just because a product comes from a plant, that doesn’t automatically mean that it is safe for everyone to use. In this course, we discuss the uses, benefits, and dangers of some of the most common herbal and other plant-derived products used today.
