  Overview

  In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine simple and complicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis. These are common conditions that can result in significant complications especially in the elderly. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients with UTI’s who take these medications. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate situations to use these medications and who can benefit from them. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
