  Overview

  In a podcast-style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD, and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine hormonal contraception. These are very commonly prescribed medications used for a variety of indications. There are benefits and risks to the different types of hormones selected. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of these medications and how to counsel patients on side effect management. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
