In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD review Asthma management and the standard therapies currently available. They also examine the use of monoclonal antibodies for managing severe asthma in certain patients. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients who have asthma refractory to standard management. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of these medications and know how to identify patients who could benefit from them. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
