  Overview

  In this module of the Pharmacy Technician Enhanced Training – Regulatory Compliance series, the pharmacy technician will learn key federal laws including the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, Controlled Substances Act, HIPAA, Drug Quality and Security Act, and the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. Additionally, laws on selling pseudoephedrine over-the-counter, Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies, disposal of medications, and other miscellaneous topics will be discussed.
