    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD review the 2023 update of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) guideline. A few new treatment options for treating type-II diabetes are available and included in the guideline. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients with diabetes taking these medications. It is important that pharmacists and nurses are up to date on the most current data and treatment options for these patients. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
