      Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder that affects millions of people in the United States each year. During this webinar, participants will learn about the impact of asthma, how asthma occurs and how to recognize the clinical signs of asthma in patients. This session will give a general overview of what a pharmacy technician needs to know about asthma including classifications of common medications utilized for treatment. Pharmacy technicians hold an important role in communicating with and educating patients on proper inhaler technique and maintenance. This seminar emphasizes various patient education points pharmacy technicians may need to understand to better serve their patients.
