  Overview

  Nonsterile compounding is an essential component of pharmacy practice, and compounding facilities must adhere to guidelines and regulations to ensure patient safety and product quality. This module is designed to orient learners to the organizations who provide oversight of nonsterile compounding. Pertinent standards and guidelines will be reviewed, and the role of the pharmacy technician in nonsterile compounding will be discussed.
