      This session is focused on how to develop and enhance one's skills as a preceptor in healthcare education. It will start by reviewing the four preceptor roles and then describe tips for how to effectively precept healthcare learners. Real-life case scenarios will be discussed to improve one's ability to handle challenging and unforeseen precepting circumstances. Finally, additional resources will be provided to further support refinement of one's precepting skills.
