  Overview

  In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD review the management of food allergies and Celiac Disease. The prevalence of these conditions has been on the rise over the last two decades.  Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients who have dietary restrictions due to these conditions. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the relevant pathophysiology and how to counsel patients on managing severe allergies. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
