Overview
The Food to Pharmacy Connection is a journey following wellness from food, to medicine, to lifestyle changes in order to help patients on their personal health journeys. This program is designed to help you recognize where medicine first began, through exploring the plant and animal kingdom, then take your new understanding into practice by implementing the power of lifestyle medicine for the good of the patient. The Food to Pharmacy Connection is the ultimate educational and implementation tool to build the bridge between current allopathic and lifestyle medicine.
Module II of Food to Pharmacy Connection goes beyond nutritional relevance to look at functional foods, or foods which can have a beneficial impact to one’s health. This module breaks these foods down to the nutritional level in order to discover the ways that they can support our individual body systems, glands, and organs. This program also delves into elimination diets, which some of the most popular diets, to help you understand their differences and applications. Module II ends with Comprehensive Pharmacy Counter Counsels, which are exercises that provide real-life examples of how one can use the power of food, nutritional therapy, and lifestyle medicine in combination with current allopathic medicine to achieve better patient health.
