    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine medications used to treat insomnia. Many new treatment options for insomnia have come to market over the last few years, but treatment guidance in this area is still lacking. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients with insomnia. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of these medications and know how to counsel patients to use them safely. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
