    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine acute and preventative management of chronic coronary syndrome – previously termed stable ischemic heart disease. This is a common condition that is very concerning for many patients. Pharmacists and nurses regularly encounter patients who have symptoms of chronic coronary syndrome. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of medications used to treat this condition and how to minimize long-term cardiac risk. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
