      Hyperlipidemia is a common disease state encountered in the clinical setting and guidelines have been recently updated to discuss the role of therapies, therapeutic goals, and other clinical considerations. Using a review of primary medications utilized, including an update of guidelines and key recommendations, this presentation will assist healthcare providers in feeling comfortable with initiating, monitoring, and counseling on these therapies.
