    • Overview

Tobacco smoking has been an endemic health concern in the US for nearly a century, but the advent of electronic nicotine vaporization devices, commonly known as vapes, introduce changing benefits, challenges, and concerns for the average nicotine-using patient. The rapidly changing landscape of smoking cessation makes following or addressing current guidelines with patients challenging. This live program will provide an updated view of US nicotine use, a brief summary of changing legislation nation-wide, education on the methods and implementation of smoking cessation and their efficacy for “vaping” cessation and prepare you to best answer or address the many concerns that nicotine-using patients may bring to you at the pharmacy counter.
