    • Overview

Prescription medications, especially brand name products, can be cost prohibitive for our patients, as our pharmacy staff knows well. What do you do when the patient who needs insulin, an inhaler, or an antidepressant and can’t afford it? You give them the cash price, their eyes well up, and they tell you, “just put it back, I do not have the money for it.” Sharing with you what she has learned over the past seven years, Denise Kreckel helps to navigate the perilous world of affordable medications. This program will provide resources that can be used for patients who do not have insurance and for those who just can’t afford their medications. Your patients will treasure the knowledge you have to navigate the prescription assistance websites.
