    • Overview

      Prescription and product verification looks at many different components to ensure the safety of patients. This module seeks to explore the common medications that are dispensed in pharmacy. The ability to recognize high risk drugs, drugs with narrow therapeutic indexes, and look-alike-sound-alike drugs is crucial to the process of safe prescription and product verification. The session further explores drugs which require special dispensing, such as in original packaging or refrigerated drugs.
