    • Overview

Over the past several years, and through the current pandemic, we have seen increased clinical opportunities for pharmacy technicians outside of their traditional dispensing roles. These opportunities include technicians providing vaccinations and point-of-care testing. By utilizing the clinical skills of pharmacy technicians, pharmacies are able to increase the number of clinical services offered to the community with less of an impact on overall pharmacy operations, all while freeing up pharmacists to focus on dispensing and other clinical responsibilities.
