    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD review the management of allergic rhinitis. This common, seasonal illness effects many patients with comorbidities and who are otherwise healthy. Pharmacists and nurses encounter these patients frequently and should be able to recognize characteristics that may differentiate the symptoms from other illnesses. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of medications used to treat allergic rhinitis and safety precautions to be aware of. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
