    • Overview

In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD examine the management of multiple sclerosis. Multiple new treatment options for multiple sclerosis have come to market and can be beneficial to certain patients. Though, older treatments are still used frequently and are effective. Multiple sclerosis effects approximately 400,000 individuals in the U.S. Pharmacists and nurses may encounter these patients. It is important that pharmacists and nurses understand the appropriate use of these medications and know how to counsel on possible side effects. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information can best be incorporated into daily medical practice.
