  Overview

  Pharmacy technicians work in all sectors of pharmacy and are involved in a wide variety of activities that support the work of the pharmacist and the workflow of the pharmacy. Their role is essential to the life and work of the pharmacy and is defined primarily by state laws. This educational session will explore the different types of pharmacy technician and their current range of duties, and will educate attendees on expanded activities permitted and sought for pharmacy technicians, including technician product verification or tech-check-tech. Finally, this session will help learners understand the principles of legal liability that pharmacy technicians face while carrying out their duties.
