  In Module 3 of this certification, an overview of CLIA is provided. Requirements for CLIA-waived tests and laboratories performing CLIA-waived tests are reviewed. Additionally, differentiation between home-use and CLIA-waived tests will be made. Common technologies used to support CLIA-waived testing platforms are summarized.
