    • Overview

      In Module 4 of this certification, guidance for determining the meaning of test results is provided. The significance of terms such as qualitative/quantitative, sensitivity/specificity, and positive/negative predictive value will be explained in terms of the use and application to CLIA-waived tests. Internal and external quality controls are discussed, and their significance explained.  Lastly, good testing practices for CLIA-waived laboratories are summarized.
