Dr. Eileen Trigoboff, RN, PMHCNS-BC, DNS, DABFN, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in a private psychotherapy practice in Western New York. She is an Expert Witness and a national and international speaker and consultant on a wide variety of clinical, research, legal, and professional topics including professional issues, mental health, pharmacology, assessment, psychopathologies, interventions, research methodologies, and statistics to health care, government, and corporate organizations.
Dr. Trigoboff earned her Doctorate in Nursing Science (DNS) in psychiatric nursing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is Board Certified in 4 areas: as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatry/Mental Health, Diplomate and Fellow in the American College of Forensic Examiners on the American Board of Forensic Nursing, and in hospital and behavioral health program accreditation. Dr. Trigoboff is also on the faculty of the SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Trigoboff is the author of 8 textbooks and is coauthor/contributor to 14 books, and has numerous peer reviewed professional journal articles. She also serves as a book editor for clinical texts and on the editorial boards of several professional journals. Dr. Trigoboff provides expert testimony and reports across the country. She is active in community service venues, including clinical settings and support groups. Dr. Trigoboff teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as providing continuing education to health care providers, attorneys, businesses, and community services organizations. She also serves as a computer systems and statistical consultant, an outside reader for dissertation research, has received numerous awards, and belongs to several professional organizations.
