Clinical Pharmacist, Hematology/Oncology, Cone Health Cancer Center
For the past 2 years, Jesse Mack has worked as the oral oncology navigator at the Cone Health Cancer Center on the Wesley Long campus in Greensboro, NC. In this role, she assists patients and providers in navigating the complicated landscape of insurance authorization, copayment, adherence, and adverse effect management issues that can all be associated with the use of oral oncology agents.
She earned a Bachelors of Science in biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received the Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the Eshleman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed an acute care pharmacy residency at the Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
She is a board-certified oncology pharmacist and pharmacotherapy specialist.
Since completion of residency, she has been involved in the care of Cone Health oncology patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
She has also served as coordinator for the ASHP accredited PGY2 oncology pharmacy residency 2017-2019, and currently serves as the primary preceptor for the gastrointestinal and gynecologic malignancy rotations of this residency program.
