Marc Semprebon, PharmD, MSLS, RPh is a pharmacist with over 44 years of experience including 41 years in the hospital setting as both a staff and clinical pharmacist. While employed at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH, Dr. Semprebon served in the capacity as a clinical pharmacist on both the critical care service and later at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth in which he helped to develop that pharmacy practice. During the past 26 years he has worked in small community hospitals and a state psychiatric hospital as a clinical pharmacist. Marc’s experiences in diverse pharmacy practice environments have greatly increased his awareness of the complexities of medication delivery and administration and the interplays that can result in adverse drug events. He holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut, an M.S.L.S. from Case Western Reserve University and after 15 years of practice, while still working full-time, he earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the Albany College of Pharmacy. Marc’s expertise has been further recognized through invited poster presentations, continuing education events as both a presenter and as coordinator for diverse healthcare audiences.
