    Arti Barnes, M.D. MPH, is originally from Mumbai, India. She underwent residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics before heading to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for her fellowship in Infectious Diseases. She has an M.P.H. with a focus in International Health and Humanitarian Aid from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Barnes was a member of the faculty at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 2010 to 2013 and worked as the director of the Cervical Dysplasia Screening Clinic at the Mississippi State Health Department. She was Associate Professor of Medicine at UTSW and the Clinical Director for the South Central AIDS Education and Training Centers from 2014-2018. She is currently the Medical director, Department of Infectious Diseases, at the Cornell Scott Hill Health Center in New Haven and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale.
