    Allure Specialty Pharmacy

    Dr. Moore is a graduate from the University of Science in Philadelphia with a Doctorate in Pharmacy and received his undergraduate degree from Boston University in Biology.  
    Dr. Moore has spent much of his career in pharmacy management with Rite Aid Pharmacy where he joined the company in 2004.  He primarily covered the Manhattan and Bronx areas where his responsibilities ranged from ensuring efficient pharmacy store operations to promoting a high standard of customer service.  In 2011, he started his own compounding pharmacy in Bergen County New Jersey which he sold to Walgreens in 2015.  
    In parallel to his entrepreneurial experiences, Dr. Moore joined Touro College of Pharmacy in 2008, as the Director of Pharmacy Practice, where he was responsible for experiential practice experience curriculum planning, development, and assessment.  In 2010, Dr. Moore was promoted to Senior Director of Pharmacy Practice and, in 2015; he was promoted to Assistant Dean of Clinic Affairs.
    At the close of 2018, he step down from his Dean’s position to join a new venture with Allure Specialty Pharmacy and AllMed Medical Group in Bronx, New York.   His role as department leader is to manage operations of the pharmacy division and to develop a post-graduate pharmacy program in pharmacogenomics, which will launch in 2019 in collaboration with Admera Health.  
    Dr. Moore’s research interest is in community based participatory research (CBPR).  His research has been funded by various organizations; Pfizer Medication Education Group regarding promoting adult immunization, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health regarding promoting HIV testing in community pharmacies, National Library of Medicine promoting health literacy, and NY State Senator Charles Schumer’s office in the development of prevention education programs for high school and middle school students around the dangers of opioid and control prescription drug abuse.
    Dr. Moore has also had a long standing relationship with multiple professional organizations both nationally such as American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, and American Pharmacist Association.  As well as, locally with such organizations as New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a pharmacist consultant.
