    St. John's University

Michelle Chin is a student pharmacist in her final professional year in the PharmD program at St. John’s University.  She is a highly motivated person and is always constantly searching for opportunities for personal growth and to achieve her career goals.  In the last few years, she has held many leadership positions at her university.  A few of her leadership roles include being the president of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Student Organizations Congress and the Student Government Class Representative for two consecutive years.  In addition, she is a pharmacy technician in New Jersey.  Currently, she is a member of the APhA-ASP National Communications Standing Committee, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority.  In 2020, Michelle implemented and hosted a successful virtual webinar addressing substance abuse and medication safety for families, county officials, and healthcare professionals.  During her free time, she enjoys drawing and designing things.  She also likes playing video games and keeping in touch with friends.  For Michelle, graduation is near, and she hopes to make the most of what is left of her college years while working to become the first healthcare professional in her family.
