    • Overview

In this course you will learn the basic vocabulary needed for a variety of situations. You will learn greetings and courteous expression, question words, colors, numbers, days, months, and dates. Question words will enable you to obtain vital patient information, such as name and date of birth. You’ll also learn how the Spanish naming system is different and how to correctly file patients in the system. Numbers will be useful in stating quantity and frequency for directions for use and for obtaining the patient’s phone number. You’ll also be able to state the cost of the medication. You’ll also learn to tell time so that you can tell the patient how long it will take to fill the prescription and when to return.
