  Overview

  Increasing numbers of patients are seeking care for gender affirming hormone. Medications used for gender affirmation are familiar to many clinicians, but their use and effects for transgender and gender diverse patients are not as well known. This session details the medication dosing and effects of gender affirming medication therapy. This session further discusses specific practices to create a gender affirming environment to help patients feel comfortable and welcome in your healthcare setting.
