    • Overview

      Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians play an important role in the care of veterinary patients via the provision of compounded medications. To ensure preparations are safe and efficacious, pharmacists must be knowledgeable regarding veterinary pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic considerations and skilled in related compounding principles and techniques. This course will provide an overview of veterinary compounding, including benefits, related regulatory requirements, and the preparation of veterinary dosage forms.
