      In Module 1, the rationale and value behind community pharmacy-based CLIA-waived point-of-care (POC) testing services will be reviewed.  The basics of offering POC testing services and managing a CLIA-waived laboratory, including training and regulatory requirements, are presented.  Additionally, the roles and responsibilities of various pharmacy personnel are reviewed.
